About Us
Who We Are
HopeNet is a faith-based nonprofit organization transforming lives through counseling and coaching. For over 30 years HopeNet has provided mental health services on an ability to pay basis made possible by donor support.
We believe that affordable therapy and mental health care should be available to anyone at any income level. Donations and program income make our ability pay program possible. To be eligible for the ability to pay program, clients must provide proof of income and the first intake appointment is always free.
HopeNet is a 501(c)3 faith-based nonprofit organization. Our therapists are all licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory board and many are trained in EMDR therapy.
To promote wellness within our staff, HopeNet operates under a 4-day work week and is closed on Fridays. Our therapists are not on-call.
Our Mission
HopeNet’s mission is to offer professional mental health and wellness services, based on Christ’s love, aimed at restoring dignity and hope.
Statement of Faith
We believe in one true God, who created and sustains all things, who is perfect in every way, and who eternally exists as three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe the historical person Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. He is true God and true man, and while on earth, lived a sinless life. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day and now lives with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Our salvation was won through the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. No one can come to God the Father except through Christ, His only Son.
We believe that when Christ left this earth, he sent the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Truth, who convicts us of sin and draws us to the mercy of the Father through Christ, His Son.
We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error and complete in its revelation of God to man.
