Volunteer At HopeNet

In order to help those we serve, HopeNet relies on volunteers who can be the hands and feet of Christ. Several volunteer positions are available.

HopeNet Getting Ahead Class

Do you desire a safe and practical way to come alongside people in our community who want to break free from generational poverty? Every fall, HopeNet hosts Getting Ahead program, a 16-week class designed for individuals experiencing poverty, helping them develop a plan for a more stable and prosperous life.

Each week volunteers are needed to help provide dinner and/or childcare for the class participants. If you are interested in serving HopeNet’s Getting Ahead class, please visit our Contact Us page, provide your contact information, and HopeNet will respond with more details!

BridgesICT Initiative Empowerment Navigators

Long-term support is crucial for Getting Ahead graduates to build resources and transition to stability. Volunteering as an Empowerment Navigator means you play an important role, walking side-by-side with a Getting Ahead graduate as they move toward stability. Navigators do not drive the vehicle for an Investigator, instead, they let them be the driver and guide them to identify resources along the way that remove barriers and build stability. To learn more about serving in this role, visit our Empowerment Navigators page.
