Mental Health Therapist

Jewel earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Kansas, followed by a year at the Kanakuk Institute, where she completed a Leadership and Biblical Studies program. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University.

Jewel discovered HopeNet through her dear friend Susan, a member of the Friends of HopeNet group. Encouraged to apply for a therapist opening last March, Jewel joined the team in early 2025—and has been a wonderful addition ever since.

An outdoor enthusiast, Jewel loves running, swimming, biking, and playing with her niece and nephews. She also enjoys cooking and gathering around the table with friends and family for a good meal and meaningful conversation.
