Jo Lynn Bright
Director of Community Impact
Born and raised in Junction City, Kansas, Jo Lynn is the third of four siblings and a proud Kansas State University graduate with a degree in Family Life & Human Development. Her heart for service began with her first role at SRS (now DCF) in Oberlin, KS, and later brought her to Wichita where she continued her impactful work with SRS, United Methodist Youthville, and EMPAC, Inc.
In 2017, Jo Lynn felt a strong calling to join HopeNet, where she now serves as Community Impact Director. Her favorite part of the job is witnessing life transformations in clients and participants. She has been especially inspired by the BridgesICT Initiative, which she says has stretched and grown her beyond anything she imagined:
“The work of BridgesICT has stretched me beyond my dreams—I feel so blessed to be chosen for this work.”
Jo Lynn has been married to her beloved “boyfriend” since 1996, and they love traveling together. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, walking, writing, and speaking at Christian retreats and churches. Her favorite cuisine is Thai food, and her joy for life is infectious in everything she does.
