Sydney is a foster parent with a heart for children and community. Over the past year and a half, she has welcomed four children into her home and is currently in the process of adopting her fourth. With five siblings and wonderful parents, Sydney knows the value of strong, supportive families.

Her background is in Early Childhood Education, and while she’s no longer in the classroom, her little one still gets to enjoy all the fun teacher-led activities at home! As her heart began to shift toward something beyond education, Sydney felt the Lord leading her into new territory—and that’s when she found HopeNet.

Since joining the team, Sydney has found a renewed sense of purpose:

“There has been so much peace and a feeling of rejuvenation of my purpose.”

Her favorite part of HopeNet is the way clients are embraced and uplifted:

“We take a beautiful person who has experienced so much, then surround them with open arms, supporting them on their journey to wellness. It’s amazing to be even a small part of making our city, our families, and even just one more person healthier.”

Sydney has been deeply inspired by the people she works with every day:
